Hey, I need help solving a requirement for a Physics assessment. The topic is Operational Amplifiers, and the question asks to determine the maximum Bandwidth for a graph of Log Gain Versus Log Frequency. How would I calculate or derive the maximum bandwidth from the graph???
The voltage gain of an amplifier(in common emitter configuration) is given by beta times the ratio of out put and input impedece where bete is current amplification. The impedence Z is related to angular frequency omega. The relation has to be found from the circuit elements used. The amplification is low at lower and high frequencies and is large and stable for mid frequencies.
I dont know much about this hence other members are requested to please look into.
Find the points on the graph where the gain falls to .707 of the flat portion. The difference in the corresponding frequencies corresponds to your bandwidth.
