Question Faraday cage

Hi Members,
Could anyone enlighten me ragarding a question which has been puzzling me for a while.
I understand the principle of the Faraday cage, but how would you calculate the force exerted on a body within the cage as the 'charge' on the cage fell when it was earthed.

Any info would be wonderful.

An EMF perhaps? Long time since I studied Physics. If a charge on the cage was earthed, this would mean a current, however small, would be flowing through the cage, so if my memory is correct there would be a 'electromotive force' at a right angle??? I basically want to know if a particle inside the cage would be forced into the 'center' of the cage.

Or it may have been something to do with a 'force' produced by a collapsing electric field related to a lightening strike on a Faraday cage which was mentioned on a TV program which I am thinking of.....Enlighten me .
