Question Vectors and Equilibrium

I am doing my lab practical and I can't find the answer to some of the questions written in our lab manual. Can anyway please help me out?
The question is like this. I have to draw the force body diagram, calculate the resultant force of F1 and F2 and compare F1 and F2 with W.

This is what we did, We hanged two spring balance to two nails on a wood board, which were nailed onto a board, one at the upper right conner of the board and the other one at the opposite. The two spring balance were connected by a long string to each other and a 500g mass stack was hanged by the string connecting to the two spring balance.

I'll be gratefull if you can help me guys.

if i get the picture correctly, you have to measure things like the length of the string, the distance of the stack from the top in the vertical component, the horizontal distance, etc. then since you know the downward force, you can calculate the tension in hte string, i.e. the forces F1 and F2. if the mass is equidistant from both scales, i.e. hung in the middle of the length of string, then the vertical components of F1 and F2 will be equal and F1 and F2 will also be equal. the free body diagram would have two forces pointing the the direction of the string with a magnitude that you calculate and one force downwards for the weight.
hope i am clear and plain
