Physics Help Forum Rules
Forum Rules
In order to proceed, you must agree with the following rules:
1) Do not create identical threads. Do not double post.

2) Do not sell any products on this forum. This is not an advertising page.

3) Do not insult or disrespect other members. When people get into a fight through a forum it gets messy with all the useless threads. So please control yourself. If anyone bothers you let us know.

4) Do not try to hack the game arcade. People earned their high scores honestly it would be unfair for them if you cheat. Also, it’s embarrassing when you hack a free game arcade, seriously.

5) Do not use a pornographic picture as your avatar or as an image upload. We have members of all ages here including young members who should not be exposed to adult content.

6) Do not upload any viruses/spyware/trojans. Do not upload your files as viruses or use your avatar/picture as trojans in disguise using it as downloaded internet content. We will detect that.

7) Do not make totally pointless threads. It is okay to make jokes, without them the forum would be boring. But do not interrupt a serious discussion with something completely off topic. Included in this rule is being on topic. Again, you can sometimes go off topic but to considerable measures. Watch and learn from the pros how they go off topic properly.

8) Do not use any improper language. This means any words which are bleeped on regular television. Also do not use a "1" to represent an "I" and assume it is okay, it is not, or anything similar to that nature. Because we are people, not machines, checking these posts, you cannot trick us.

9) DO NOT SCREAM. It is rude.

10) Do not beg for answers. If your question is unanswered do not make a post begging for someone to reply back, it is totally useless. Other members can see the question.

11) D0 |\|07 1337 741|< (Do not leet talk). There is a code among hackers when leet talking is permitted; this is not one of those times.

12) Do not give negative reputation without reason; also give positive rep/thanks when your question was answered.

13) Do not place thread in inappropriate sections. If you asked on one topic keep it in that topic. It is work for the mods to move them back. If you are unsure place it in "Urgent Physics Help", or “Miscellaneous” any thread is welcome there, as long it is on math.

14) All posts are subject to review by the Moderators and Administrators of Physics Help Forum. We reserve the right to delete and/or modify any post that we deem unsuitable for the site. All decisions are final.

15) Create a new thread for each new problem. Do not add new problems to existing threads especially when they are not your own thread.

16) No racist or bigoted comments please.

17) On posting questions: Any and all homework assignments or textbook style exercises for which you are seeking assistance are to be posted in the appropriate forum or in PMs --not in blogs, visitor messages, or non-technical forums. You must show that you have attempted to answer your question in order to receive help.

We do not support cheating in any form: Do not ask for solution manuals, answers to exams, or instructor's manuals. Every school and instructor has their own policies or honor codes on what constitutes cheating, and it is up to the individual student to adhere to those policies when seeking help here. If you are in doubt as to whether you are permitted to seek help, consider erring on the side of caution and not asking for help.

On helping with questions: Any and all assistance given to homework assignments or textbook style exercises should be given only after the questioner has shown some effort in solving the problem. If no attempt is made then the questioner should be asked to provide one before any assistance is given.
